A page with the PlayStation VR2 App has appeared on Steam: you need it to set up Sony's VR headset for PC games

Already on 6 August, PlayStation VR 2 will receive support on PC, so owners of the headset will be able to play games not only on the console but also on Steam. There will even be a special application for this.

Here's What We Know

The PlayStation VR2 App page has been added to Steam. The app is needed to set up the headset and use virtual reality games and apps on Steam with PlayStation VR2. It will be available on 6 August.


To start using the PlayStation VR2 App, you'll need the following:

  • PlayStation VR2 headset
  • PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers (Bluetooth connection)
  • PlayStation VR2 PC adapter, which will be available on 7 August for $60.
