HMD unveiled the new Crest and Crest Max smartphones in India

HMD has officially unveiled its new affordable Crest and Crest Max smartphones in India.

Here's What We Know

Both the smartphones feature Unisoc T760 chipsets and 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED displays with 90Hz refresh rate. The Crest has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, while the Crest Max has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The cameras are also differentiated: Crest has a dual camera (50 MP main + 2 MP depth sensor), while Crest Max has a triple camera (64 MP main + 5 MP ultra-wide angle + 2 MP macro). Both devices have a 50MP front-facing camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The smartphones support 5G, run Android 14 and have a 3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. HMD promises two years of security patches for the Crest series.

The Crest will be priced at $175 in India, while the Crest Max will be priced at $195. There is no information about the sales of the new products in the global market yet.
