Samsung has recently experienced quality control issues with its new devices. Earlier, a defect was found in the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphones, and now build quality issues have been spotted in the new Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatch.

Here's What We Know

One customer received a Galaxy Watch Ultra with a mismatch between the hour markers on the bezel and dial, which is likely due to a misalignment of the OLED panel. While this is an isolated incident, it points to possible problems in the manufacturing process.

Earlier, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphones also faced problems. Some users reported damage to the silicone ear pads during replacement and other issues, leading to pre-orders being suspended and the headphones being rechecked before shipping.

These incidents are reminiscent of Samsung's past quality control issues, such as batteries catching fire in the Galaxy Note 7. Despite the current issues, most Galaxy Watch Ultra users have not experienced such defects and Samsung will likely offer a replacement for the defective device.
