Sonos has officially apologised for numerous issues with the new version of its mobile app that was released a few months ago. The new software was missing key features such as sleep timers and alarms, and there were issues with some speaker display and volume settings.

Here's What We Know

The changes had a negative impact on music search and playback, which led to numerous user complaints.

The company's CEO Patrick Spence confirmed that fixing the software is a priority for Sonos.

The company plans to release a series of updates by October, which will include improved connection stability for new devices and music library settings, as well as volume and alarm updates.

Spence promised that all these changes will be implemented through a series of app updates over the coming months. At the same time, the company has also released new headphones that could be a good addition to their product range.
