The first screenshots of the new One UI 7.0 shell have already started appearing on the Internet, showing some elements of the new interface. There are also rumours about the start of the opening of beta testing of the new firmware on July 29, but according to a well-known insider, One UI 7.0 is not yet ready for open testing.

Here's What We Know

According to the informant @UniverseIce, the current version of One UI 7.0 is not yet suitable for beta testing as it is full of bugs. If Samsung releases the new firmware in this form, it will inevitably be criticised by testers.

Samsung was rumoured to be planning to release a beta version of One UI 7.0, based on Android 15, in late July or early August. However, the current One UI 7.0 build is too unstable and contains a lot of bugs, making it almost unusable. Therefore, the company may delay the release of the beta version of the new firmware to improve the stability of the system.

One UI 7.0 will bring a host of new features, visual improvements and performance enhancements for Galaxy devices. Some of the expected changes include a redesigned quick access bar, new app icons and other UI elements.

The stable version of One UI 7.0 is expected to be released by the end of October. Galaxy S24 series smartphones will receive the update first.
