Samsung has recently unveiled a new line of TWS headphones called Galaxy Buds 3. These headphones received a new design with a stem reminiscent of Apple's AirPods. However, as it turns out, the South Korean company's product is far superior to its American competitors in one important aspect - repairability.

Here's What We Know

A Canadian blogger specialising in electronics repair has disassembled the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and confirmed that their repairability is higher than expected. Usually, users don't usually send their headphones for repair, preferring to buy new ones. However, for expensive models, repairability becomes an important factor to extend the life of the device.

The case of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is easily disassembled despite having IP57 protection, making them waterproof. Unlike the AirPods Pro 2, which are difficult to disassemble due to a lot of glue, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro can be opened without risk of damage. Replacing the battery is also not too difficult for experts.

Samsung is arguably ahead of the competition by making its products more repairable. With new EU legislative initiatives to promote the right to repair, this could be a significant advantage.
