Amazon has announced a prequel to the TV series "The Guys" called "Vought Rising"

At Comic-Con in San Diego, Amazon announced a new TV series, Vought Rising, a prequel to The Boys, set in the 1950s.

Here's What We Know

The story will centre on Soldier, played by Jensen Ackles, and Stormfront, played by Aya Cash. They are some of the Vought Corporation's first and most powerful superhumans.

"The Goonies" showrunner Eric Kripke, despite his silence on the main series finale, has enthusiastically unveiled the new project. "Vought Rising" will be a tangled murder mystery, saturated with blood and Compound V, and will tell the story of how Vought became a nefarious mega-corporation.

Paul Grellong has been named showrunner and executive producer for the series, but no premiere date has yet been announced. This prequel promises to expand the universe of "The Guys" and deepen the understanding of the history and motivations of key characters.
