Lenovo presents Legion R9000P 2024 gaming laptop for $1282

Lenovo has released a new gaming laptop, the Legion R9000P 2024, in China, which is already available for purchase. The price starts at $1282 for the grey variant and $1338 for the white one. The device is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads, which can be overclocked to 5.4 GHz, and an NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics card. The device has 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Technical Characteristics

The 16-inch 2.5K display with 2560×1600 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage offers a high brightness of 500 nits and a response time of 3ms. It also supports HDR400, G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. The laptop is equipped with the Frost Blade Pro Cooling System 5.0, which provides efficient cooling.

The Legion R9000P features Wi-Fi 6E, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45, 3.5mm headset port and Type-C with support for up to 140W charging, and an 80Wh battery. The laptop includes Legion ZONE customisation software, a TrueStrike keyboard, and Nahimic sound effects. It comes with Windows 11 and has a camera with an electronic privacy switch.
