At the ChinaJoy 2024 exhibition, Huawei unexpectedly unveiled a new laptop with the "GT" logo, which may indicate its gaming orientation.

Here's What We Know

The device features a glowing Huawei logo on the lid and a vent at the back for efficient cooling. Chinese media outlets report that the laptop could be powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor and support 140W charging, similar to the Huawei MateBook X Pro.

So far, Huawei has not had dedicated gaming laptops in its portfolio, but the arrival of a model labelled "GT" indicates the company's possible entry into the gaming device market. The new laptop is expected to be called "MateBook GT". No launch date has been revealed yet, but based on Huawei's previous launch cycles, we can assume that the device will be unveiled at the company's autumn event.
