ASUS unveils powerful Zenbook 16 Air with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX370 AI processor

Taiwanese company ASUS has expanded its laptop lineup with the introduction of the new Zenbook 16 Air. This model features extremely high performance thanks to the innovative AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX370 processor.

Here's What We Know

The new Zenbook 16 Air is equipped with a bright 2.8K OLED display with a high refresh rate, which provides incredible image quality. The laptop is made of durable ceramic aluminium and is only 1.1cm thick.

The Zenbook 16 Air has a 2.8K (2880 × 1800 pixels) 120Hz OLED display with HDR 500 certification, 10-bit colour depth and 550 nits of brightness. The display covers 100% of the P3 colour gamut and provides Delta E<1 colour accuracy.

Laptop with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX370 processor with 12C24T Zen 5 cores and Radeon 890M graphics based on RDNA 3.5. It also includes a 50 TOPS NPU.

The case is made of ceramic aluminium. The laptop is 1.1 cm thick and weighs 1.49 kg. The cooling system includes a unified VC heating plate with a dual fan, capable of delivering 28W of cooling power. The C side of the laptop has 3,522 holes to improve airflow efficiency.

The laptop is powered by a 78 Wh battery that provides up to 20 hours of local video playback. It has a 6-speaker sound system, a 240Hz touchpad, a Wi-Fi 7 card, and dual 1080p AI cameras.

The Zenbook 16 Air has a full range of interfaces, including two USB4 ports, USB-A, HDMI, an SD card slot and audio interface, supporting fast charging, 4K external displays and data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps.

The laptop also features an ambient light sensor, blue light protection and MyAsus software for customisation and performance optimisation, as well as GlideX for multi-screen collaboration and Asus Flash Transfer for file transfer.

The ASUS Zenbook 16 Air is now available for purchase in China for $1,792.
