A new TV series Dexter: Resurrection has been announced - a continuation of the story of the famous killer
Last week Showtime released the first footage of Dexter: Original Sin, which will be a prequel to the popular Dexter series. Its events will unfold in Miami in 1991, when a young medical student Dexter has not yet become a serial killer, but already feels a craving for blood.
But, as it turns out, fans of the famous serial killer and part-time medical examiner expect a full-fledged continuation of his story! Again.
Here's What We Know
At San Diego Comic-Con actor Michael C. Hall appeared as Dexter and together with representatives of Showtime made a surprise announcement: he will return to the role of Dexter in the new series "Dexter: Resurrection" (Dexter: Resurrection).

The events of Dexter: Resurrection will unfold after the finale of New Blood, but it's not quite clear how the scriptwriters will get out of the situation they've put themselves in.
