Exynos 1480 successor: Samsung is working on Exynos 1580 processor, it will compete with MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series chips

Samsung is developing a new processor for mid-price segment smartphones.

This was revealed by insider @TheGalox_. The new SoC will be the successor of Exynos 1480 and will come to the market with the name Exynos 1580.

The chip will be built on a 4-nanometre process. In addition, it should get one Cortex A720 core, three Cortex A720 cores, four Cortex A520 cores and Xclipse 540 graphics module.

The Exynos 1580 will compete with MediaTek's Dimensity 8000 series of processors. Unfortunately, when is the release of the novelty information is not yet available.
