One of the main features of the Dragon Age series is the sheer amount of interesting, deep and varied dialogue. Players could spend hours talking to characters and learn something new about them every time.

BioWare studio stays true to its ideas and filled the new part of Dragon Age with a lot of dialogues.

Here's What We Know

Creative Executive Director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard Ashley Barlow said that it took the company five years to record all the actors' lines. She explained that there are seven hundred characters in the game, most of which are voiced by different people. The screenwriters wrote 80 thousand lines of dialogue, but it was necessary to voice 140 thousand lines, because the main character of The Veilguard has four voice variants.

Creative Director John Epler explained in an interview with GamesRadar+ that the ten-year interval between the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Veilguard was due not only to the parallel projects of the studio, but also to the fact that BioWare tried to achieve the highest possible quality of each element of the game, including dialogue.

When We Can Expect It

BioWare has promised that the release date and details of the promising RPG will be announced at the end of summer, probably at gamescom 2024.

So far it is stated that the game will be released before the end of 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
