Last week saw the release of the Settlers of Kalguur expansion for the popular isometric action-RPG Path of Exile.

The game was released in 2013 and all this time has not ceased to be in demand, but the release of the update allowed it to set a record attendance.

Here's What We Know

Developers from the New Zealand studio Grinding Gear Games reported that on the weekend the peak online Path of Exile exceeded 350 thousand people on all platforms. Only in Steam this figure was 229 thousand simultaneous users, which was also a record.

The creators of the game are glad that the release of Settlers of Kalguur passed without serious technical problems, but they urge everyone who discovers bugs to inform the studio, so that the developers can quickly fix them.

Let us remind you that Path of Exile 2 is scheduled to be released in early access on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series at the end of 2024, which according to the developers' promises has all chances to surpass the first part in popularity.
