Samsung has demonstrated impressive sales growth in Germany in the first quarter of 2024, up 32% year-on-year.

Here's What We Know

This increase allowed the company to almost catch up with Apple, whose growth was only 5%. According to Counterpoint Research, Samsung's success is due to the positive perception of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy XCover series.

The German smartphone market, which has recovered from two years of low sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic, also saw growth for Xiaomi (+33%) and Google Pixel (+163%). Honor's sales doubled.

The market is expected to continue to grow, with Samsung moving closer to taking the lead over Apple.
