Germany has handed over a new batch of Leopard 1A5 tanks, ammunition for Gepard and other weapons to Ukraine

In addition to the US, Germany also announced a new arms package for the Ukrainian army.

Here's What We Know

According to the government website, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were handed:

• 8 Leopard 1A5 tanks;
• 21,000 shells for Gepard self-propelled air defence systems;
• 10 surface drones;
• 2 Bergepanzer armoured recovery vehicles;
• 10 ground surveillance radars;
• 24,810 helmets;
• 1 field hospital.
