Samsung dominates the gaming monitor market with a 20.6 per cent share, ahead of LG and ASUS

Samsung is actively working to strengthen its position in the global gaming monitor market, which was valued at $9.8 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $18.4 billion by 2033.

Samsung recently unveiled its new Odyssey series of gaming monitors, which have received positive reviews and have already sold several thousand units. Specifically, the Odyssey OLED G6 and G8 OLED gaming monitors sold 20,000 units in the first month after launch. Samsung holds 20.6 per cent of the global gaming monitor market, ahead of LG and other competitors such as ASUS and Dell.

The growing popularity of eSports is fuelling demand for gaming monitors and Samsung is actively capitalising on this opportunity with innovative products and eSports partnerships.
