Sheep will team up with Goats: the developers of Cult of the Lamb have revealed details of a major Unholy Alliance update that will introduce a co-operative mode
In August, the popular roguelike game Cult of the Lamb will receive a major Unholy Alliance update. Developers from Massive Monster published important details that will interest the infernal sheep.
Here's What We Know
The PlayStation. Blog mentions many interesting nuances of the Unholy Alliance update, but we'll focus on just a few of them.
Cult of the Lamb will support local co-op: the lobby creator will play as a Sheep, and the guest player will take on the role of a Goat and together they will be able to have fun, go camping, develop their cult and engage in side activities, including fishing.
Cult members will have many additional traits and features that will greatly affect the game. For example, some sheep will snore loudly or try to break their fellow sheep out of jail.
The mental health of cult supporters will increase in importance. After successful outings, they will share stories and rejoice in victories, which should boost their morale. And if something terrible happens to them on the outing - the psychological state of the entire flock will deteriorate.
For joint campaigns in Cult of the Lamb will add many new tarot cards, which will impose unique effects on the characters, oriented on the joint passage. For example, players will be able to draw a beam of demonic energy between them that will deal damage to enemies.
When We Can Expect It
The Unholy Alliance update for Cult of the Lamb will release on 12 August on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
