Samsung Vice President visits factory in India

Samsung Electronics Vice President J.H. Han made his second visit to India this year, visiting the company's Noida factory. The visit underlines the strategic importance of India for Samsung.

The Noida plant produces millions of smartphones, tablets and home appliances, as well as refrigerators, with sales growing thanks to innovative technology and Bespoke design.

Khan stressed that India is a key market for Samsung and noted the importance of local production under the Make In India programme.

Samsung has been investing heavily in India, including R&D centres in Noida and Bengaluru, which contribute to the development of new technologies.
