Barbie cot from HMD to be presented on 28 August

HMD has confirmed that the Barbie-branded phone will be unveiled on 28 August, although it was originally planned for July.

Here's What We Know

In February, the company announced a new line of phones, including a pink model, which is probably Barbie.

The phone will be a clamshell, run on S30+ or KaiOS, and is positioned as a digital detox device without access to social media.

Although details are still unknown, the model is expected to look similar to the Nokia 2780 Flip. A photo of the phone posted on X shows its bright pink colour, which has already become a trademark for HMD.
