According to a recent report by Runto Technology, Xiaomi has become one of the top three monitor brands in China thanks to its successful strategy of focusing on office models.

Here's What We Know

In the first half of 2024, monitor sales in the country increased by 0.8%, reaching 4.95 million units. Despite the overall growth, traditional e-commerce sales fell by 0.7%, and average monitor prices decreased by 8%, due to increased demand for budget models.

AOC retained its lead thanks to the popularity of 27-inch QHD models, but its growth slowed. HKC took second place thanks to the success of gaming monitors.

Xiaomi, which focuses on FHD office monitors, took the third position, demonstrating successful product diversification. The low-cost monitor market continues to grow, with Xiaomi and LingShe controlling 33% of this segment.

The growing demand for office displays due to remote work and online learning is expected to support the monitor market trends in the second half of 2024.
