From steam locomotives to electric locomotives: High Voltage DLC for Railway Empire is now available on all platforms

Publisher Kalypso Media and Gaming Minds studio announced the release of a major High Voltage add-on for Railway Empire 2 railway construction and development simulator.

Here's What We Know

Railway Empire 2: High Voltage will take players to the era of electrification, when steam locomotives began to be actively replaced by new equipment.

Players will be offered:

• Two new scenarios: 'High Voltage' (from 1914) and 'Energy for the People' (from 1920);
• 10 historically accurate electric locomotives such as Ce 6/8 III Krokodil and PRR GG1 Blackjack;
• 3 new locomotive sounds;
• a new "Switzerland" map with a choice of both a large map and regional sections;
• 10 new regional products, from iconic Swiss penknives and herbal lollipops to delicious cheese fondue;
• 20 new music tracks and jingles.

The High Voltage DLC is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4|5. The release discount of 10% will be available for seven days on the Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, Steam, and the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
