Pixel 9 Pro will not be able to shoot in 8K, but the Video Boost option will allow you to achieve this resolution
Google Pixel 9 Pro will not be able to shoot video in 8K resolution, but thanks to the new Video Boost feature, this feature will be available.
Here's What We Know
Although the 50-megapixel Samsung GNK sensor used in previous models supports 8K, the Pixel 9 Pro will not be able to record video in this resolution.
Video Boost will allow you to upload video and process it in the cloud, which will improve video quality, including night shooting.
The new Zoom Enhance feature will be available for the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL, but it remains to be seen if it will be available at launch.
This option will probably not be included in the Pixel 8 Pro when it is replaced. It should be noted that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will get Video Boost, but without 8K support due to a different main sensor.
