Xiaomi has updated its Security Centre page, where it has revealed the timeline for global market smartphone support.

Here's What We Know

According to the manufacturer, the top-end device models will receive updates for five years. This applies to the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra. However, more phones are scheduled to get a four-year update. For example, Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 13 Lite, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Interestingly, a few mid-range and even budget devices will get identical support: the POCO F6, POCO M6, all Redmi Note 13 series phones, Redmi 12 5G, Redmi 12C, Redmi Note 12 and even the Redmi 12.

As for the Redmi Note 12 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro, they are unfortunately limited to a three-year support period. Both smartphones will be updated just like the budget devices Redmi A3, Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Redmi 13C.
