US approves sale of 12 AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters to Slovakia
The US Department of Defence's Office of Military Cooperation has approved the sale of AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters to Slovakia.

The information appeared on the department's website. We are talking about 12 helicopters worth about $600 million. The contract will be fulfilled by Bell Textron and General Electric.
By the way, in addition to helicopters, the deal also includes the possible purchase of 26 engines T-700 GE 401C, 1680 unguided missiles APKWS class "air-to-ground", 20-mm ammunition, helmets, electronics, as well as training of pilots, ground staff and the creation of the necessary infrastructure. The contract is planned to be fulfilled within three years.
