It's official: developers will unveil the first gameplay trailer of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII 4X strategy game at gamescom 2024

Publisher 2K Games and studio Firaxis announced when fans of 4X-strategies will be able to appreciate gameplay of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII.

Here's What We Know

The new part of the cult Civilisation series was announced in early June at Summer Game Fest, but then gamers were shown only a small cinematic trailer.

But on the 20th of August during the opening ceremony of gamescom 2024 developers will present the first gameplay trailer of Sid Meier's Civilization VII. The show will be followed by an in-depth presentation of the game with details from the developer on the FiraxisGames YouTube channel.

It is also stated that gamescom 2024 attendees will also be able to check out the gamescom 2024 demo.

When We Can Expect It

Sid Meier's Civilisation VII is expected to be released in 2025. It will be the first game in the series to be released simultaneously on PC and consoles, including Nintendo Switch.
