There's big trouble in prison: Paradox Interactive has announced another delay in the release of Prison Architect 2

Prison Architect 2 has been postponed twice already. In addition, the Swedish publisher Paradox Interactive suddenly announced the termination of co-operation with Double Eleven studio, which had been working on this series for nine years, and the transfer of the game development to the Brazilian studio Kokku.

As time has shown, this step did not solve the problems with Prison Architect 2, and, perhaps, aggravated them.

Here's What We Know

Paradox Interactive has announced that Prison Architect 2 will not be released on the 3rd of September! Internal testing showed that the game still has many technical flaws, and the quality of content leaves much to be desired. The game designers need more time to finish the game, but how much time - they don't know yet, so Prison Architect 2 has no release date yet.

The developers will conduct a detailed analysis of the state of the game and the amount of work to be done and will be able to give an approximate release date for the prison construction simulator.

Prison Architect 2 is being developed for PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
