End of an era: one of the most popular gaming publications Game Informer ceases to exist
US monthly gaming magazine Game Informer has announced its closure.
Here's What We Know
For 33 years - since 1991 - Game Informer delighted millions of video game fans with high-quality, informative, informative and often exclusive materials about the most important events in the gaming industry.
For three decades it has been one of the most popular entertainment magazines, but today Game Informer announced news that will be the last in its history:
From the early days of pixel adventures to today's immersive virtual worlds, we've considered it an honour to be able to share this incredible journey with you, our loyal readers. While our printing presses may stop, the passion for games we've nurtured with you will live on.
Game Informer didn't give a reason for the decision, but it's likely due to parent company GameStop's financial problems.
Issue #367 will be the last issue of Game Informer and will be dedicated to Dragon Age: The Veilguard RPG.
The gg editorial team would like to thank our colleagues from Game Informer for the example of quality work in gaming journalism.
