Last month, Samsung held its summer Unpacked event where it unveiled new foldable phones, smartwatches and wireless headphones. However, after announcing the Galaxy Buds 3 series of headphones and the Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatch, the company was accused of copying Apple's design.

Here's What We Know

Samsung Electronics chief Lee Jae-yong ( Lee Jae-yong ) ordered a review of plans for Samsung's mobile MX division after accusations of plagiarising the design of the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, which resemble the AirPods and Apple Watch Ultra. Tensions arose within the company and action was taken against some employees, including Samsung MX leader TM Roh.

The CEO himself reportedly intervened in the situation after controversy over Apple's plagiarised designs and quality issues related to the Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Watch Ultra. According to the latest reports, the internal atmosphere of the division is currently very bad. Lee Jae-young, who generally has a calm demeanour, has reportedly been shouting and giving strict orders to Samsung's MX division.

Bloggers and journalists have been constantly discussing the similarities between Samsung's new devices and Apple products. Many Samsung fans are also disappointed with the abandonment of its own design in favour of Apple's design.
