Announcement for FlatOut fans: THQ Nordic unveiled racing game Wreckfest 2

The racing game Wreckfest 2 was announced at the THQ Nordic show.

Here's What We Know

The first part of Wreckfest was released in 2018 and was a continuation of the ideas of the cult series FlatOut, which was characterised not only by dynamic gameplay, but also by an advanced car damage system.

In Wreckfest 2, Bugbear Entertainment studio, which consists of the creators of FlatOut, promises to improve all the elements of the first part and for this it has seriously modernised its own engine. In the new game the cars will behave even more realistically on the track, and after each collision the damage will not only be visually noticeable, but will also affect the performance of the car.

When We Can Expect It

The release date of Wreckfest 2 is still unknown, it will probably be released in 2025. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
