Previously, Apple was expected to release the iPhone 16 series sometime in September this year. Now the latest leak reveals a specific date for the presentation of Apple's new devices.

Here's What We Know

According to the latest reports, Apple is planning to unveil the new iPhone 16 series on 10 September 2024. The devices are expected to go on sale from 20 September. Despite the fact that the launch is still more than a month away, numerous leaks and rumours have already given a glimpse of the new products.

It is reported that the base iPhone 16 will be available in white instead of yellow, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will get darker shades of colour options. The base model will also have a vertical camera arrangement to support spatial video. The iPhone 16 Pro Max may feature a larger 6.9-inch screen with improved peak brightness, and the display bezels will be thinner than its predecessor.

In terms of performance, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are likely to feature the A18 Pro chip, which will be more powerful and better able to handle artificial intelligence tasks. The A18 Pro chip is manufactured using TSMC's 2nd generation 3nm process technology. As for the base model, it is still unclear whether Apple will use the new A18 Pro chip or if it will be last year's chipset. However, according to the latest rumours, the company may use a stripped-down version of the A18 Pro in this year's base models.
