Apple Vision Pro has demonstrated a new level of gesture-based app control, and now the company is planning to expand this technology to other devices. A new patent application indicates that Apple is looking to integrate these gestures into iPhone, iPad, and Mac controls.

Here's What We Know

The patent application, which includes 36 illustrations of Apple Vision Pro, demonstrates how gestures can be adapted for use on other devices without the need to wear a headset. It includes the ability to recognise gestures through Face ID and provide intuitive control using handwriting signals.

The application also describes mechanisms to accurately recognise gestures and eliminate false positives. This could allow users to control the cursor and change the position of windows on a Mac without touching the screen, which will improve ergonomics and simplify computer operation.
