Skynex is a new air defence system. The air defence system was introduced in 2021. It was developed by Rheinmetall Air Defence. It is designed to provide defence against cruise missiles and drones. The launcher is equipped with a 35 mm Oerlikon Mk3 cannon. The effective range of fire is 4 kilometres. The Skynex arsenal also includes radar, which is capable of autonomously tracking aerial threats.
