LG unveils new 27-inch 4K IPS gaming monitor 27UP550N with HDR10 and AMD FreeSync technology

LG has announced a new 27-inch 4K IPS monitor, the 27UP550N, which will be available in China on 8 August at 10am. The price of the monitor will be $251.

Technical Characteristics

The 27UP550N features an IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The display brightness reaches 300 nits and the static contrast ratio is 1000:1. The monitor supports 8-bit colour depth, covers 98% of the sRGB colour gamut and features AMD FreeSync technology to reduce screen tearing during gaming.

The monitor's design allows you to adjust the tilt, swivel and height of the screen. The 27UP550N has two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 and a 90W USB-C port. It also supports HDR10, which improves image contrast and brightness.

Additional features include Dynamic Action Sync to reduce input lag and Black Stabiliser to improve visibility in the dark. The monitor also comes with OnScreen Control software for easy management of screen settings.
