Elon Musk has again filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman, claiming that the company breached its obligations by putting commercial interests ahead of the public good.

Here's What We Know

In a new lawsuit filed in federal court, Musk accuses OpenAI of violating federal racketeering laws and claims that Altman and co-founder Greg Brockman misled him into creating the company. Musk is also demanding a determination of whether OpenAI has achieved general artificial intelligence (AGI), which could void its contract with Microsoft.

In response, OpenAI said that it was committed to serving the public good by creating AGI and that it took significant resources to do so. The company also noted that Musk wanted full control of OpenAI or its merger with Tesla, which led to his departure and the creation of his own artificial intelligence company, xAI.
