48 megapixels with f/1.7 aperture: New Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold reveals camera details ahead of official announcement
The new Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold reveals the details of its camera even before the official announcement. The information appeared in the certification documents of Camera FV-5. The main camera will have a resolution of 48 megapixels with f/1.7 aperture, OIS and EIS, as well as a focal length of 25.5 mm and a maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels.
Here's What We Know
The front camera will be 10 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture, providing a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2600 pixels and a viewing angle of 77.8 degrees.
Compared to the Pixel Fold, where the front camera was 9.5 megapixels, it is possible that there will be a similar one, but with improved performance.
It is expected that the rear panel will also feature a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera.
The official presentation of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will take place on 13 August along with other Pixel 9 models.
