Xiaomi unveils BE6500 with Wi-Fi 7: speeds up to 3.57Gbps and improved coverage

Xiaomi has introduced a new BE6500 router with Wi-Fi 7 support in the Chinese market. The model is available for pre-order for $70. The BE6500 provides a theoretical maximum speed of 3.57 Gbps and significantly outperforms the previous version of Wi-Fi 6 in terms of speed and coverage.

Here's What We Know

The router is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm A53 processor and supports dual-band MLO aggregation for 2.4GHz and 5GHz connectivity, which improves speed and reduces latency. The BE6500 has six front-end modules for signal enhancement, as well as 4KQAM technology to boost internet speeds by up to 20%.

It has four 2.5G ports for connecting high-speed devices up to 5Gbps, smart home integration via Mi Home and Xiao Ai, and Mesh network support for easy whole-home coverage.

The BE6500 also includes security features through the Family Security Centre.
