Square Enix and Deck Nine Studios have released a new trailer for the dramatic adventure game Life is Strange: Double Exposure, which will be a direct sequel to the 2015 game.

Here's What We Know

This time the developers paid attention to the location of Life is Strange - the College of Science and Arts of Vermont, where the main character Max Caulfield works.

The video shows the main buildings of the college, rebuilt from an old church, student cafe, modern art gallery, observatory, Snapping Turtle bar, where students spend a lot of time after studying.

The trailer is stylised to look like a commercial for an educational institution.

For those who don't know

In Life is Strange: Double Exposure, a grown up Max, after experiencing the events of the first part, swore to herself not to use the abilities that allowed her to travel through time and change events. But many years later, her close friend has died and Max wants to find out why and who is behind her murder.

In the new game, instead of travelling through time, Max Caulfield has been given the ability to split reality and influence its variations.

When We Can Expect It

Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on 29 October 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will later be ported to Nintendo Switch as well.
