The Galaxy S25 might be borrowing design elements from Samsung's new Galaxy XR VR headset
Samsung is actively working on its new virtual reality headset, which, according to the latest reports, will be released in late 2024 or early 2025.
Here's What We Know
Informant Ice Universe reported that some of the design elements and features of this headset will be used in the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung is working with Qualcomm and Google on this project and while exact details are not yet known, the headset is expected to be a standalone device similar to the Apple Vision Pro.
It was previously reported that the Galaxy XR device will feature dual OLEDoS displays with a resolution of 3,500 pixels per inch from Samsung Display. The latest news indicates that the exterior design of the XR device will be similar to the S25 series, which could signify a significant change in the design of Samsung's flagship smartphones. It could also indicate that the Galaxy S25 series will move away from the design used in previous models such as the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24. There are no renders or concept images of the Galaxy XR yet, making it difficult to get an idea of its appearance.
