Square Enix has not yet announced a release date for the PC version of Final Fantasy XVI, limiting itself to the abstract wording "by the end of 2024". However, there is information that allows us to hope for a soon release of the dark action game on PC.

Here's What We Know

NVIDIA has released Game Ready and Studio Driver 560.81 update. Attentive users analysed the changes and found a mention that Final Fantasy XVI profile is already present in the base.

Most likely, this means that the game is almost ready for release on PC and Square Enix only has to set the exact date of its release and finalise the last preparations.

We would like to remind you that the developers have previously stated that FFXVI on PC requires the use of SSD-drive and, in general, the game requires quite powerful hardware.

It is likely that an official announcement from Square Enix will take place soon, most likely it will happen at gamescom 2024, which will be held from 21 to 25 August.
