Dead by Daylight will soon feature Dracula: the crossover with the iconic Castlevania franchise will begin in late August

The developers of the asymmetrical online horror game Dead by Daylight have revealed the launch date for the new chapter, which will feature a crossover with the iconic Castlevania franchise.

Behaviour Interactive Studios has announced that the Dead by Daylight: Castlevania chapter will launch on 27 August across all platforms. The game will feature Dracula and his arch nemesis, vampire hunter Trevor Belmont.

Dracula will be the new Assassin in Dead by Daylight and will be able to use not only human form, but also turn into a wolf and a bat, while gaining special abilities.

In turn, Belmont will join the Survivors and will also receive several unique skills.

Simultaneously with the start of the event Dead by Daylight will be released a major free update 8.2.0, in which the developers will tweak the balance of characters and fix a number of bugs. On all maps, if Dracula participates in matches, his castle will appear in the sky.
