Insider: the mobile version of the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV will be officially announced as early as August

Perhaps no one doubts that the information about the development of a mobile version of the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV is true.

Thefirst to report about it was the dataminer and insider Kurakasis, and a few days ago the National Press and Publication Administration of China approved 15 foreign games and gave them licences for release in the country, including Final Fantasy XIV Mobile, which is being developed by Square Enix and Lightspeed studio.

Kurakasis was quick to supplement his own information and said that the game will be officially unveiled as early as this month.

He didn't specify when this will happen, but there's a good chance that Final Fantasy XIV Mobile will be announced at gamescom 2024, especially since publisher Square Enix has announced an appearance dedicated to "the future of Final Fantasy XIV".

Kurakasis emphasised that the game will be released not only in China but also in the rest of the regions, with Level Infinite as the publisher.
