Ford is developing electric bikes in the style of their famous Bronco and Mustang car models
Ford has announced a collaboration with bike company N plus to create two new electric bikes inspired by the Bronco and Mustang models.
Here's What We Know
The Bronco electric bike will feature a 750W motor-wheel with 85Nm of torque, allowing it to tackle rough terrain. The bike will get a 'GOAT' (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) dual suspension system and can reach speeds of up to 28 mph. The battery provides up to 60 miles of travel and charges in 3.5 hours.
Mustang electric bikes, including the limited edition Mustang 60th Anniversary Edition, will have similar features to the Bronco. They are equipped with Pirelli Angel GT semi-slick tyres and four-piston hydraulic brakes. Both bikes have full colour LCD displays showing speed, battery life and range.
The Bronco electric bike starts at $4,500 and the Mustang starts at $4,000. Both bikes can be pre-ordered on the company's website, and deliveries will begin later in the year.
