Multi-purpose weapon for any situation: Monster Hunter Wilds developers presented Gunlance

Capcom continues to introduce gamers with important details of the fantasy action game Monster Hunter Wilds and releases short videos.

Earlier the developers introduced the basic mechanics, Great Sword, large firearm Heavy Bowgun and two-handed melee weapon Insect Glaive.

Here's What We Know

In the new trailer, the Japanese showed Gunlance, a heavy two-handed weapon that combines a spear, cannon and shield. The protagonist can deliver stabbing blows in close combat or make shots at a distance, with the damage dealt depending on the degree of charge. If necessary, the protagonist can close with a shield and then counter-strike.

Gunlance offers a wide variety of actions and combines well with Focus Mode, during which you can do more damage to vulnerable areas of your enemies.

When We Can Expect It

Monster Hunter Wilds is expected to release in 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

It has already been stated that Capcom will attend gamescom 2024 and reveal details about the game.
