iPad Air with OLED display to be released in 2026

The iPad Air lineup received an update at the beginning of the year with new 11-inch and 13-inch models powered by Apple's M2 chip, but still with Liquid Retina IPS LCDs.

New rumours from South Korea indicate that the Air lineup will receive OLED displays in 2026.

According to TheElec, Samsung Display will be the main supplier of the new screens, which will use single-layer OLEDs rather than Tandem OLEDs, as in the latest iPad Pro.

Additionally, previous reports confirm that we may also see an iPad Mini with an 8.7-inch OLED display in 2026.
