Samsung updates Galaxy Flip series security in August patch

Following the foldable Galaxy Fold 3, Fold 4 and Fold 5 models, Samsung is updating its other line of foldable smartphones in the US - the Galaxy Flip 3, Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Flip 5.

Here's What We Know

The August update fixes 50 vulnerabilities of varying severity. It also includes a fix for a critical vulnerability that was discovered back in June and affects many Android devices, including those made by Samsung.

The August update doesn't bring any other changes other than security improvements to the Galaxy Flip 3, Flip 4 and Flip 5. The next update for these and other Samsung devices is expected to be the One UI 6.1.1 version with new Galaxy AI features and other improvements, which should arrive in late August or early September.
