Many gamers were sceptical about Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess - a new game from Capcom, which combines such different genres as strategy and action.

There was an opinion that this project will interrupt a series of successful releases of the Japanese company, but it turned out that gamers perfectly accepted Capcom's experiment.

Here's What We Know

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess was released on the 19th of July, the game received high marks from critics, and now the developers have published additional confirmation of the game's success with the public.

Capcom announced that 500 thousand players have played Kunitsu-Gami in three weeks. This figure is not an indicator of sales, because the unusual action-strategy has been in the Game Pass catalogue since the first day and is available to all its subscribers for free. Nevertheless, it is an excellent result and a successful launch of the new IP.

Capcom is thanking gamers for their interest in the new game and in appreciation is offering everyone a few bonus in-game items, including an amulet available as part of a collaboration with another Japanese game, Okami.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
