This week, it was reported that Apple may introduce a fee of up to $20 per month for some features of its Apple Intelligence service. However, according to analysts, the company is unlikely to start charging for these features before three years.

Here's What We Know

In the Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman clarifies that although there is a possibility of introducing a fee, Apple is likely to focus on the development and improvement of features first.

In particular, iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 updates include new Siri, Genmoji, and Image Playground features. Gurman believes that Apple will initially try to develop more advanced features for which it will be possible to introduce a fee.

Thus, users shouldn't worry about paying for basic Siri features in the near future.
