Insider: Red Magic's new gaming tablet will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chip
According to the latest information from Digital Chat Station insider, Red Magic is preparing to release the second generation of its gaming tablet, which will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version processor.
Here's What We Know
The novelty, the official name of which is still unknown, is expected to appear on the market at the end of August 2024. In contrast to the trend of increasing screen sizes, the new tablet is likely to have a smaller display compared to the previous model, which had a 12.1-inch screen with 2.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
The tablet will feature a flat, rectangular design and will probably get a powerful cooling system, including active cooling with a physical fan, which is a signature feature of Red Magic's gaming smartphones. The device is also expected to feature a large battery and support for fast charging. The first model had a 10,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging support.
The tablet may also get up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of inbuilt storage. Details about the new device are still scarce, but more information is expected soon as the launch is scheduled for the end of the month.
