Tesla has made significant changes to the pricing and availability of its new Cybertruck electric pickup truck. The company is discontinuing sales of the $60,990 rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck, the cheapest version of the electric vehicle, and raising prices on more expensive versions of the vehicle.

Here's What We Know

The price of the all-wheel-drive Cybertruck has now been increased by $20,000 to $99,990. The three-motor version of the Cyberbeast has gone up in price from $99,990 to $119,990. That's a significant price increase considering Tesla promised a price starting at $39,990 in 2019.

The company has also increased delivery dates, with all-wheel-drive models to be delivered between August and September 2024 and the Cyberbeast between October and December 2024. Previously, orders were expected in 2025.

The Cybertruck has faced two auto recalls this year due to faulty accelerator pedals and wiper blades. Tesla is going through a rough patch with falling profits, federal investigations, lawsuits and recalls.
